OmniDirectional Treadmill CAVE

ODTandCAVE The Omnidirectional Treadmill allows for omidirectional locomotion of the user. It is incorporated into a CAVE-like system. The system uses DepthQ projectors from LightSpeedDesign, Stewart screens, standard 80/20 material, and Dell graphics workstations. Its associated project is the Dismounted Soldier Immersive Scenario Simulation Software with Omni-Directional Treadmill.

Rear Projection Wall

Located in the CREATE lab, the Rear Projection Wall is 2600x1000 pixels. It uses 4 Christie Mirage projectors, 4 PhaseSpace Motion Capture cameras, and 5 PCs.

VisMini™

alt The VisMini™ is a portable stereo 3D display from Visbox. This system uses Infitec™ stereo, which works on every white surface (no need for special non depolarizing screens) and provides high channel separation resulting in no ghost images.

Abdalla Hall

abdalla_hall Part of the University Research Park, Abdalla Hall provides a spacious area where the 3rd Generation Omnidirectional Treadmill and CajunBot are located.

LITE

alt The LITE, Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise is a State of Louisiana economic development center. Housing several visualization venues including a Total Immersion Space, the Kathleen Babineaux Blanco theatre, The Flex, and the Executive Conference Room. These facilities are available to faculty, research staff, and students of the University of Louisiana to perform advanced research.
